About me
First, the last name. It rhymes with genius. Seignious the genius. But you’ll quickly figure out, it just rhymes! I worked in radio for 20 years in the San Diego (KGB/KPOP, KSON, KKOS), Seattle (KMPS), Sacramento (KRAK), and Minneapolis-St. Paul (WBOB, K102, KFAN) markets. I began my career working in promotions before transitioning to a morning show co-host. In 2001, I was offered a faculty position at the University of Northwestern-St. Paul (UNWSP). I currently serve as an Associate Professor of Media Production and Chair of the Communication Department. I am also the faculty advisor for the student radio station operating at 98.5 HD The MEL. (UNWSP owns and operates a 14-market radio station network.)
