About me

I am full-time faculty at Regent University and work primarily in Regent University’s Doctor of Strategic Communication (DSC) program. The DSC degree program is a one-of-a-kind, applied doctoral degree program, like a JD or MD. It incorporates real-world, real-life applications with robust academic study.

My research interests are varied and include recent co-authorship of the Understanding Media Psychology textbook, award-winning Hoosier Schoolmaster of the Air publications and PSA, parasocial phenomena, crisis communication, and early children's educational radio.

I am also more than happy to grab a cup of coffee and talk curriculum design, media analytics, or just chat about the Vegas weather.
