About me
Aside from teaching classes in screenwriting and producing at Cal State Fullerton, where he received his M.F.A., David Morgasen is a working writer, producer, and director whose experience includes film, TV and viral videos.
Dave’s worked with everyone from Disney to Howard Stern, writing the hit Disney film Princess Protection Program and serving as a showrunner on several TV series. His most recent project is Red, White & Lou, an animated half-hour comedy he co-created for 20th Century/Disney, featuring Courteney Cox, comedian Maz Jobrani, Kathy Najimi, and SNL’s Mikey Day. Directing credits include ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live and other shows.
Dave is here because he has worked extensively with visual effects that are now considered the forerunner of today’s Deep Fake technology, most notably producing and directing the popular McCain-Obama Dance Off, which attracted tens of millions of views and made Time and Politico’s lists of top political virals.
